8. SOCIAL MEDIA

8.1 General Notes

Links to Facebook and YouTube are temporarily integrated into our website. We have implemented a two-step process recommended by data protection authorities. This means you must first activate the social media link by clicking a button before any connection is established with the social media platform's servers. You can then share our content by clicking again. Taking Facebook as an example: when you visit our website and click the Facebook link, a direct connection is established between your browser and Facebook’s servers. Facebook then receives information that you visited our website using your IP address. If you click the “Like” button while logged into your Facebook account, you can link the content of our pages to your Facebook profile. Facebook can then associate your visit to our site with your account. Facebook alone is responsible for collecting and using this data. For more information, see Facebook’s privacy policy: https://en-gb.facebook.com/about/privacy

8.2 Other Platforms

YouTube functions similarly to Facebook. IP addresses are transferred to the respective provider and cookies may be sent to your computer. For more information, consult the privacy policies of the respective provider.

9. CHANGES TO THE PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically due to, for example, further development of our website or legal changes. CTS therefore reserves the right to amend this Privacy Policy at any time with future effect. We recommend that you review this Privacy Policy regularly. This Privacy Policy was last updated on 13th of May 2025.

10.1 Submitting a Request

10.2 Data Deletion Timeline

CTS commits to deleting the user account and associated personal data within thirty (30) days from receiving a valid request from the user.

10.3 Deletion Limitations

There are situations where CTS may be legally obligated to retain certain data (e.g., taxes, accounting). In such cases, the user will be notified of limitations that prevent complete deletion of certain data.

10.4 Data Recovery Possibility

After deletion of the user account, data will not be available in the user application. Users should be aware that deleted data cannot be recovered, and it will be necessary to create a new user account if they wish to use the user application services again.

This Statement aims to ensure respect for user privacy rights in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union. CTS reserves the right to modify this Statement with prior notice to users.
